hi and welcome to KiSS them for me...a goth KiSS collection.

KiSS sets are usually, like the ones on this CD, paper dolls for your computer-- the name KiSS comes from Kisekae Set System, "Kisekae" coming from "Kisekae Ningyou," the japanese term for dress-up games, meaning "changing clothes."

KiSS, though, is more than a dress-up game because it can be wildly interactive *and* because anybody with a computer, a graphics program, and a text editor can make their very own dolls! the artists in KiSS are also the fans!! If you like what you see here, you can make your own dolls too-- and there is a great support network on line for people who are learning "how to KiSS"

you will need a KiSS viewer in order to use this CD. you can download a KiSS viewer for free from the Big KiSS Page at Otakuworld. where you will find a selection of free dolls and thousands of dolls as part of a pretty low-priced subscription service. Once you have your KiSS viewer downloaded and installed, I hope you'll have fun playing with all forthy of the dolls in this special CD collection!

The premiere dolls folder includes all dolls that were made especially for this CD collection. The history folder is a selection of older dolls suggested or given to me by artists to include on this CD to give a better flavor of all the different things that people have done in KiSS over a little less than a decade. all dolls appear here with permission.

If you really enjoy this CD and want more dolls, you can always sign up for a subscription at Otakuworld or you can search through the huge link archive of KiSS-related web pages at The Invisible KiSS Links (most of these are free!)

KiSS dolls are free for everyone-- so you shuld feel free to share this CD with your friends. But please don't make more copies of this CD or post any of these sets to a website without the permission of the artists. In addition, please don't use the art on this CD in your own work unless you have written permission. Some of them will be happy to give you permission if you simply drop them a nice email. i've included links to web pages for artists that i know of so that you can more easily send fan mail, ask questions, or find more of their work if there are any artists you particularly enjoy!

please note that some of these dolls may be considered "adult" in nature. please use discretion before viewing with or giving this CD to children. if you are a parent, screen the included content before allowing your child to play with the dolls.

please read the HTML files included in each folder to learn more about the dolls and the artists who made them! many dolls also have a text file in the set; make sure to read these text files in order to learn more about each specific doll.
