Morgan clapped his hand onto the other man's shoulder and met his gaze for a moment, "Damn right you do. Time to start paying."

"You're doing worse than this by keeping her how she is. She's worse than crazy. And if it comes down to it, the pair of you can put her back as soon as you're both back to yourselves. If you two are even interested in doing that." He shrugged some, looking at the cards for a moment, "This is some sick stuff, Mal. But someone has to do it."

"Yes, that is always the case." Maalech rose, rather tiredly, and put away the notes. For some reason a clean floorspace was always preferable. He would have wished for more room, but this was private, and it would be quick.

It should be quick.

"Once we are ready I will tear up one of the cards." He had found and pulled out the two of cups, the two lovers being promised to each other seemed to be the best chance they had at luring her here. "Hopefully one will be enough, and that this one will keep her from lashing out instantly." Not trust... perhaps curiousness though. "Once she arrives, I will destroy the rest of the cards, hopefully rendering her incapacitated from the memories. However..."

"No 'however', Mal. Bad luck." He looked to the man with a smile, "Don't give it a name, don't give it a shape. Just trust that you know what you're doing."

He smiled at the man then, "I know you don't go for it, but when you fly by the seat of your pants as often as I do, you learn to just hope for the best."

Besides, if not? Well, Morgan was there and he had a chance, maybe, if they got it in quick enough.

Maalech was quiet for a moment, then he gave Morgan a deadpan look "It is indeed amazing that you are still alive." He shook his head, but that thought seemed to have eased some of his tension.

It was annoying really, without his Art he knew he was far too open to interpretation by others. At times it was such a relief to hide behind the mask. Now he was exposed, dealing with a headache that would not go away and preparing to do something utterly against his own beliefs.

"... however, should that not be the case, you will need to neutralize her. Are your control enough that you can do that without fatally injuring her? Because if you do doubt your abilities there, there is somewhere else we could do this that would help. But it would hold other dangers, and I would rather not have the cure be worse than the disease."

"Mal, I know how to put someone down. Even someone like her..." He shrugged some and looked to the man, "I know what I'm doing, okay? Stop stalling."

Morgan was pacing a little now, cracking his neck a little, watching the man, "I can stop her and safely."

Maalech gave Morgan that very annoyed look the man only got when he had a point.

And then he picked up the two of cups, slowly tearing it in two.

The effect was surprisingly anticlimactic, the card was just paper after all. Nothing grander.

Well, not on a level most people could sense.

Ah, the waiting game.

He felt a few ripples in the aether.

But he could only sigh and stare at the other man, just... waiting.

"Patience, one cannot suppose tha..."

The air shimmered and solidified, depositing the young redhead in the middle of the room.

"I thought I ordered you to not tear up anything more witout m..."

She broke off, looking between the pair, her white dress deepening to burgundy as she scowled. "The cards. If you have hurt my Magus I..."

Morgan smiled some, holding up his hand, "He's fine. He passed me the cards because he didn't need them anymore." He smiled some, gesturing to Maalech, "Especially since that there's your Magus."

He sighed some, looking over at Maalech, "We're just trying to help. Believe it or not."
