Seth laughed a bit at that and resisted his urge to re-straighten the shirt himself.

He tilted his head a bit, regarding the man, "So," he began cautiously--not without that smile on his face, but no less cautious for that, "Are you still so worried about... about me becoming too attached while you are otherwise engaged? Or has something changed?"

He smiled a bit, "Not that I mind either way..."

He smiled back. "I don't know." He replied. "I enjoy flirting, Seth, I'll not deny that. And you're sweet and kind and gentle. All wonderful things, but I think you'd be happier with someone sweet, and kind, and gentle."

"You are not alone there," replied Seth with a smile, "About the enjoying flirting part, at least. You are..." Seth exhaled a bit, smiling "You are quite good at it."

"And, so long as we both know, generally, where we stand, I hope you won't mind if I don't stop." He reached out then and placed a hand on the other man's hip, "There are worse ways to spend my free time than flirting with someone so lovely."

Davide looked amused at the hand on his hip, but obliged. "I suppose there are not many better pastimes." He agreed, settling his hand around Seth's waist. "You're good at it too, Seth. I don't know why you think you aren't."

Seth seemed to consider this a moment before giving a sideways nod of his head and smiling, "Do you know? I have not the foggiest idea. Though I suspect the question was some manner of foul trap to trip up my positivity before I had even begun in earnest."

And with that, he leaned in to place his lips to Davide's.

Davide leaned back after a moment, grinning. "You're even delicate when you kiss." He said quietly, and squeezed the man's middle. "That was a compliment, by the way." He added.

"Am I?" Seth chuckled a little and shrugged, "I am glad you approve." He smiled at the man and slid a couple fingers along Davide's cheek before taking half a step back. "So what are the terms of your house arrest? Or was it one of those hastily thrown-together things to appease the Lady Dierdre?"

He sighed. "It needs to look real enough to convince the Bridesleas that something is being done about me. So I'll have my dinners delivered, I suppose, and go nowhere near their part of the castle, and be followed by a guard if I decide to go somewhere." He grinned. "The only places I go are to visit you, or Judith. And soon we'll be on the ship." He shrugged.

"I will be quietly flattered to have made your list, then," joked Seth with a smile, "And I would be lying if I said a part of me wasn't looking forward to being on the ocean again. Not that I don't love it here, but."

He shrugged a little and watched the man, "Until then, I'll try to be a bit better about visiting. I cannot imagine the annoyance an armed escort must be."

He shrugged. "It's not problem. I'd feel more sorry for the esort than me. She doesn't get to do anything interesting." He grinned and leaned in to kiss the man again, not as delicately.
