Just as the hallway started to look familar again, she suddenly veered off, shoved open a door, and burst in.

Quickly she stood up to keep the strange woman from advancing. "Excuse me, my lady, but you are in the wrong room . . . " Then she spotted Marcello and blinked in surprise. "What on earth's going on?" she demanded of him.
