"Oh." He said, still looking slightly worried, as he rubbed her back. "I'm.. glad." He settled on, reaching up to brush her tears away with his thumb, thinking. "Is it odd for me to say... I wish you'd turned back into a man?"

"Gods, you must think me mad..." she muttered to herself as she tilted her head to kiss his hand as it reached her face. But the question held her silenced for a moment.

"Odd only in that you did not seem terribly enthused at the thought of me being one before. And, in its way, sweet." Seth smiled at the youth then, "If it were a kiss that broke the spell, I should be very happy indeed if it were yours."

He blushed and said nothing for a moment. "That's kind of you." He told her, kissing her forehead. "I don't think you're mad. And I'm happy too." He admitted. "I just thought, perhaps.. Kisses work all the time in stories."

Seth smiled a little, "I'm very glad. I should not like to be thought mad by you. Of all people." She blushed a little at the kiss to her brow and slid her arms a little tighter around him. "And many of the Puck's enchantments end up having a particular fairy-tale logic to them. Though I've been simple enough a person that I never figured out the clever cue that would have broken the spell, so..." she shrugged a little and smiled softly at Davide.

"So where does that leave us, then? Should I..." she loosened her grip a little, "Should I not kiss you again? Or." she took a breath before turning her pale grey eyes to his. "I want you to know that I want to be with you Davide. I will be only a friend to you if you ask it of me, yes, but while I will say nothing, I will still want to be with you. I know that you can never show me to your family and if you did that I could never tell them the truth of the enchantment that I am under. One day I will not be a woman any more and I will still want to be with you." It all came out in a rush, her voice an intense whisper. "I want to be honest with you, Davide. I. I am no good at games or flirting or any thing else."

Davide looked something between aghas and confused, and his eyes glazed over. "I.. I.." He started, and furrowed his brow. "I love you deeply, Seth. I do. But.. But I have to be married before I do any of that."

Seth blinked for a moment as if not understanding. Then she flushed bright red and smiled at Davide.

"Erm. Well. Yes. I meant. Romantically. And. Erm. Well, that, too. Yes." she muttered quickly before she reached her hands down to take hold of his. "And. And I will wait. I understand. I do, I just." She took a long breath and smiled, "I love you as well, Davide. I only wanted to... I do not know." She smiled at him and leaned in to kiss his cheek softly. "Gods, I am happy beyond saying," she whispered, squeezing his hands and restraining herself from leaping, jumping or running around with glee.

It was going to be different this time. She knew it would.

"Oh." Davide still looked a little lost. "Did you think this wouldn't happen? I just as much said that I loved you the first day we met." He kissed her nose. "I am glad you are happy. Glad I made you happy." He amended.

"Well. Well, no. I thought that... " she shrugged a little, kissing his cheek again, "I thought that you would stop. That you would go and call me a deviant or. Or something like that. That I would scare you off and you would never want to see me again," murmured the magician, sighing a little at her own overactive imagination when it came to calamity.

"I..." she started and then kissed him again.

Maybe she had more but it could wait.

This time he kissed her slowly, taking his time. He pulled away from her. "I loved you truly and deeply the moment I laid eyes on you. That you were a man was..." His eyes widened. "Scary. But, um." He added. "Well, you're a woman right now, aren't you?"

Seth blushed a little more, "Did you really?" she asked, her voice not much more than a whisper and then she did her best to step over the question because it all felt so wonderful and ridiculous at the same time that she felt dizzy. "I am a woman, yes. Every inch." she replied with a smile. "And every inch of me yours. Figuratively, if you want to wait." She laughed a little, squeezing his hands, "I love you, Davide." she said quietly, "Now. Um. You will have to teach me how you court a woman in your lands. I fear I have little enough idea what is expected of me."
