The magician smiled a bit at that, Now feel this, she thought at him as there was a rush carried through their connection, somewhere between feeling a fist opening under one's hand and pulling one's hand out of a too-hot bath as a small flame appeared between the two of them.

Open your eyes. I will keep the flame alive. You... you try and affect it.

He wiggled in his seat and opened his eyes, staring at the flame. He took a deep breath and stared at it. "Get bigger." He asked it. "Please." Before looking back up at Seth for reassurance. "Like that?"

A start, she replied, licking her lips as the flame flickered a bit at Davide's command, And... and use a feeling. Reach out with your mind and... and hold its limits of flame and not-flame and... pull it larger, I suppose. Hard to put into words.

There was a small, quietly happy surge of emotion through the connection as she flitted her eyes from the flame to his face as he tried to move the flame. A surge of emotion quickly closed off lest she reveal too much.

He laughed at the surge of happiness, not really knowing what it was. "That..." He shut his mouth. What was that?, He asked, and then concentrated on the flame, thinking of frustration and anger to make it grow.

Seth blushed a bit at that--a feeling carried through the connection--which was also cut down. Seth frowned slightly, concentrating a little harder on holding back her emotions, Apologies. Something about the look in your face and the magic is. It is very nice. She smiled a bit and the flame began to sputter and shake, whipping back and forth as if blown upon, roiling down and in on itself.

Very close, Davide. You intuit a principle of fire; it is passion and anger. But you are not the fire. You are a human, a creature of Will, one who uses fire. Hold that anger and... She sent an emotion along the connection, like feeling a flower bloom in one's hand, Use it. Direct your passion. You have asked. You have fueled it. This is to treat the flame like it is to be bargained with. Here, her voice fell away, like a memory, instead the echoing memory-voice of an old man for a moment.

You are the worker of Will. This flame comes from us, she said, her voice more her own, Take hold of it with your desire and mold it. You are so close!

Davide, however, seemed to sputter, first with excitement and then nervousness when he could think of nothing to mold the fire into. Then, a fluttery sort of panic that he was holding hands with Seth and how close the woman was. He pulled his hands back, blushing. "I, ah, er." He sputtered. "Sorry."

Seth blinked a little and as he pulled his hands back and smiled a bit, folding her hands in her lap once again, the flame still hovering in the air in front of her face, "Do not be sorry," she replied with a small smile, "Do you want to keep trying?" inquired the magician, "Or have I sufficiently frustrated you?" She smiled as kindly as she could, the flame drifting down to hover above her hands.

"Your voice. In your head. Sounded like a man's for a minute. Is that how you sound when.. ah.." He smiled. "You're your usual self?" He tried. "And I.. I've had my fill. It's hard to concentrate on such things."

"What?" she asked, furrowing her brow as if she hadn't thought of it, thinking back for a moment before shaking her head, "Hrm. No. I. I think that may have been a bit of my own training. My Mentor, Amadeo." Seth smiled anxiously for a moment before coughing once and saying in a voice not entirely unlike her own, though certainly more masculine, "This is my normal voice. Though it is a bit strange," she said, the masculine edge slipping out of it, "coming from this body."

She chuckled a little and nodded, letting the flame disappear into the air, "You were very close. You have a strong mind."

Davide looked fascinated by the voice, getting a funny sort of look, before smiling more sweetly. "I ought to make you tell my parents that." He replied with a laugh. "They'd be shocked."
