Andre grimaced. "Like who?" he asked. "You were my best guess for someone who would have that kind of experience. I don't know a lot of necromancers, Jochy."

"Think you should remedy that the way yer life's been going lately" he grinned, only to grow serious a moment later. "Sorry, didn't mean to sound so bloody glib, I like Spider. She deserves less shit in her life. Where are you? If yer anywhere close to the Erins, I'd be willing to give it a shot. Know a bit or two about ghosts and possessions, figure I'm yer best bet if yer can't find a proper Bard."

He hated to admit it, but those bastards were skilled.

"How... is she?"

"Mercer," Andre replied. "I thought you were here. How the hell did you get all the way to the Erins?"

He took a deep breath. "She's holding up. I've been threatening Kuleliti every time she surfaces, so she's been relatively quiet."

"Accident. You remember that weird old cook of a professor from the University? The one that showed up when yer house almost collapsed and was invaded by undead rats? Me, him and Cara had been working on cleaning up the last bits of the mess left by Crowley and that blood stuff that brought people back to life. We kinda found a machine that it seems that Crowley was experimenting with using to teleport, kinda like the circles the Tuatha use. He set it off, and me and Cara ended up in Cnoch na Niall. Have no idea what he did, or of he could bring us back."

"Of course that's what happened," Andre said dryly. "Is Cara that woman you've been sleeping with to get your mind off my sixteen-year-old daughter?"

"Yes, she is. So yer might consider being real damn grateful to her." Jochy smirked a little. "Brainy, tough as nails and dead sexy, what's not there to like?" Honestly he could be speaking of both women there. Cara and Elaine.

"Harlan Blatchford, that was the damn name. A professor at the university. I'd suggest yer drop by there and see if he can't get the damn thing running again, If yer still ganging around with Lang, she knows where is office is. Other than that it's gonna be a few days until I can get to a circle, and hell knows where is the closest one I can bend it to on the mainland. Yer can't chase ghosts out over the mirror unfortunately."

"Aye, all right," Andre agreed. "If you can get back here, it would be a help, and in the meantime, I'll talk to this professor. Is there anything else we can do? In the meantime, I mean?"

"It sounded as if Spider surfaces at times so the possession ain't all the time? That's a good sign. I'd surround Spider with things that are familiar to her, and treat her like she's normal. A lot is gonna depend on Spider's mental strength when it comes to these things, any ghost that wants to stick around starts seeding self doubt and angst to make the host mind weaker. She's probably gonna try to get Spider to hurt things she loves, guilt is the best tool there is. So treat her nicely, but keep her safe. And above all, I know it might be the hardest thing yer have to do, but be confident. Tell her that it ain't gonna be a big thing, yer gonna get me, or a bard, and exorcise her. Not any worse than coming down with the flu. It's a bit more complicated than that, but she doesn't have to know that."

He looked as if he was about to say something else, but decided against it.

Andre nodded slowly. "What about the baby? Should I keep her away from the baby? It's going to be hard to surround her with familiar things when our house was just destroyed," he pointed out.

He paused a moment. "What else?"

"The baby... shit, can't give you advice there. It can go both ways. It can giver her something to really fight for, but if the ghost gets to her and manages to harm the baby, she might never forgive herself. Or you. No way in hell would I chance to have her hold him, seeing him might be better though. Also, yer might wanna consider referring to the ghost as just the ghost and not Kullie, the more yer treat it like the real person, the stronger it gets. Like scratching a mosquito bite, it just gets worse."

He was silent for a moment, then shook his head. "No. I had another idea for getting it out, but one, Si is not here, and two, it would be too damn dangerous."
