Re: The one with the deal making, 1 Samon, night
Diagiacomo sputtered, wide-eyed, and stayed where he was at the back of the cell, wiping his face and staring with horror at the two of them. "Whu-what kind of deal?"

Lang glanced back. "Matthew's not four hundred, or you're not?" She asked, curious. "Matthew doesn't mean to lie, he just remembers oddly. You know. He said Leabcharham made him in her image, but Vasha, that was the Countess Niall's.. Niabheara's grandmother? Her bard. He said the Queen was dark and the king was bright. Which is a bit odd. Were they lovers?" She shrugged, and looked back, noticing Digiacomo, smiling at his horror. "You stop the seaweed, we make sure the Navy doesn't hang you."

One of the marines shifted and spoke up. "Miss? I don't believe you're authorised to say that--"
"What fucking seaweed?" Digiacomo demanded. "Do I look like the damn sea-witch?"

"You don't have enough dollies," Judith told him.

Lang looked over her shoulder and winked at the marine. "Why don't you worry your pretty head about what you're authorized to do, and I'll worry over myself." She looked back at Digiacomo. "I think you did." She said calmly. "If you didn't, then I'll leave right now and you'll hang. You know that. If you stop, everyone wins."

The marine started, then glanced side to side, not certain that wink was intended for him. He pressed his lips tight and shifted his eyes forward.
"I don't know what the hell you're on about, woman," Diagiacomo snarled at her. "What are you wanting me to stop?"

"The seaweed. You need to stop it." She repeated, pushing away from the wall, frowning as she walked up to his cell. "You know, you don't need to snarl to impress me or scare the other men." She looked to Judith. "Is he really this dense?"

Re: The one with the deal making, 1 Samon, night
"Lang, will you for the love of all gods not go right up to the bars like that." Judith looked bored. Judith was bored; this was generally the way all her interrogations went. Digiacomo was disappointingly unoriginal. "Of course he's this dense. He's a pirate. If he had enough brains to blow his nose, he'd've picked another line of work."
Breaking her stance suddenly, she walked over and kicked the bars, ineffective but hard enough to make a good startling clang. "Tell us about the seaweed, man. What's it do, other'n pick the meat off people?"

Digiacomo tensed momentarily when she kicked the bars, but since it wasn't followed by another bath, he quickly relaxed into his former sneer. "Don't know. Why don't you take a swim in it and see?"

"I'm being nice to him." Lang said, looking annoyed. "And I'm well enough aware that he can't do anything to me." She took a step back from the bars, however.
"Listen, Digiacomo. Stop the seaweed and we'll figure something out. No captains about, hmm? We'll get you on your way. Don't tell us, and you'll get hung from the yardarm. That's what they want to do to you, you know." She put her hands behind her back. "Beat you until you confess, then have you hung. I heard it. First your fingers, then your toes. Then your ears. Then they'll take seaweed and set it..." She stopped. "Well. You know."
